100 Things Your Kids May Never Know About

With the constant progress of technology, today's children will grow up not knowing certain realities of life that were commonplace just barely 10 years ago, such as sending film away to be processed and having physical prints of photographs come back to you. So without further ado, here is a list of 100 Things Your Kids May Never Know About. If you have some free time, click on the link in #3 and see what happens when you give a Walkman to today's teenager.

Concentrated Evil

I have to get this book for Mia's Potty Training...

So Who Do You Want to Sacrifice?

This is how I'll probably treat my Daughter's boyfriend...

Checking In

Checking in the Hospital.

The "Birthing Suite".

The adjoining "Birthing Lounge". I asked for a cocktail since it was a lounge and they told me I could leave at any time.

Department of Labor

Baby's heart beat is the graph on top while Debora's contractions is the graph on the bottom.

Still waiting for baby's arrival.

Getting close.

After 22 hours in labor, the actual pushing out was only 35 minutes long. Mia arrived @ 4:04 am 01/27/07.

Grandma Kay is ecstatic.

Aunt Venessa has tears of joy.

Meet and Greet

Mom and Dad meet Mia for the first time!

After nine months, Dad finally gets to hold "his Precious"

First time Aunt/Tia, Venessa introduces herself (Mia whispered to me that she thought Tia Venessa was kinda cool).

The proud Grandparents, Nana Hilda, Pa, and Grandma Kay.

Taking vital statistics: 7.7 lbs, 20.25 inches.

A general assessment of overall health.

Side note: I offered my assistance in the overall health assessment. They asked "who are you to make assessments?" I responded, "I work for
Harcourt Assessment pal! I can assess all I want!"

Hats are fashionable this time of year.

Here we have Miss Mia in a wonderful pink and blue sock cap. A great example of Urban Chic, the cap offers great versatility for the "girl on the go".

Here we have another offering from the great fashion house of A.A. Milne. Known for thier wonderful bear designs, this cap reflects the Milne's push into 21st century style with an all white hat. The embroidered bear on the rim is a definite nod to the company's humble bear beginnings.

A more straight forward hat, Mia shows it off simply lounging around the 'Crib' but it is also apropriate for a day out on the town shopping or at the nearest coffee house.

Lazy Sunday

Interesting reflex where the toes curl up (kinda like a monkey) around your finger.

Mia and her SMOKIN' HOT dad!

Hard to see from this distance but Mom and Mia are sleeping in the same position. Click the pic for a closeup.

Whazzup homie?

Grandma Kay and Mia enjoying a new Hat.

Going Home

We are finally going home!!

Waiting for Dad to come with the car.

All bundled up and ready for 45
degree weather.
